Becker-Rinkenberger classic Friday

VALPARAISO | The Becker-Rinkenberger Fall Classic XXIV will take place Friday at Forest Park. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a 10 a.m. shotgun start. The cost is $100. Make checks payable to either Mark Becker or Fall Classic and send to The Fall Classic, P.O. Box 57, Valparaiso, IN, 46384. Rio's fall league begins Oct. 10

T.F. North Booster Club outing Oct. 15

The T. F. North Booster Club will hold its golf outing Oct. 15 at Lost Marsh in Hammond. Golf will begin at noon. After-golf festivities will be at the VFW Hall in Calumet City, where cocktail hour will be from 6 to 7 p.m.; dinner buffet is at 7 p.m. Cost for golf and dinner is $75 -- $30 for dinner only.
