Creekside offers junior and adult programs

VALPARAISO | Creekside Golf and Training Center will offer junior and adult golf programs in July.

Linkster classes for those ages 6 to 8 will run from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. The cost is $15. Target classes for ages 9 to 11 will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. The Ladies Monday Morning Clinic will run from 8 to 9 a.m. Monday (power leaks in the swing).

The event is a fundraiser for former Valpo athlete Darren Kahl, who suffered a spinal injury in 2008. Proceeds are used for rehabilitation expenses as well as supplies and adaptive equipment that help Kahl perform activities of daily living.
