Calumet Memorial Park District offering Yoga classes

CALUMET CITY | The Calumet Memorial Park District is offering a Yoga Class for ages 18 and older on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to noon from June 21 to Aug. 2 The class is held at Memorial Park, 612 Wentworth Ave. The fee is $25 for residents, and $30 for non-residents.

A free Yoga Class will be offered from 11 a.m. to noon June 14.

A free "Men's" yoga class for ages 18 and over will be offered from 9:30 a.m. June 15 at the Sandridge Community Center, 600 Oglesby Ave. Participants should bring their own yoga mat and towel.

Lansing Old Timers holding baseball tournament

LANSING | The Lansing Old Timers Baseball Tournament will take place July 17-22 at the Lansing Old Timers Sports Complex, 16500 Chicago Ave. The tourney is for 8U, 9U and 11U in-house all-star teams or part-time travel teams with 25 games or less. Cost is $400 per team -- $450 if not paid by June 30. Three games are guaranteed if eight teams entered in division.

Joyriders bicycle training program starting this week

SCHERERVILLE | The Trek Bicycle Store of Schererville is starting a new Joyriders 14-wekk training program for people looking to get reacquainted with their bike or for intermediate bike riders whoare interested in improving health and lifestyle. Training will be for 25- and 62-mile rides.
