Midwest Wings offering soccer training at Ho Chunk
LYNWOOD | The Midwest Wings Soccer Club is offering high school boys and girls soccer training at Ho Chunk Sports Center, 19800 Stony Island Road. The 18-week session runs 7 to 8:30 p.m. for girls and 8:30 to 10 p.m. for boys from Thursday through March 27 from First half of the sessions will focus on skills, footwork and fitness; second half will have players made into teams for 9v9 indoor matches with no walls for a more outdoor style of play. Cost is $240.
* Midwest is also offering kidSoccer at Ho Chunk for boys and girls 5-11. Six-week sessions run from Tuesday through Dec. 3, Jan. 7 through Feb. 11, and from Feb. 18 through March 25. Sessions will be on Tuesdays from 5 to 6:30 p.m. for ages 5-7, and from 6:30 to 8 p.m. for ages 8-11. Cost is $95 per session, which includes training, games, participation in special events and uniform jersey.
