New location for All Aspects Baseball and Softball Academy

SOUTH CHICAGO HEIGHTS | All Aspects Baseball and Softball Academy has moved its operations to a 7,500 square foot building located at 362 East Sauk Trail -- two miles west of I-394 and four miles west of the Illinois-Indiana state line. The academy has five batting cages, muliple pitching lanes, 60-by-75 turf area for travel teams, a loft area to watch practices and lessons.

Indiana Chiefs of Hammond holding Sunday camps

HAMMOND | The Indiana Chiefs of Hammond will be offering Sunday Morning Baseball Camps inside the Bishop Noll fieldhouse, 1519 Hoffman St. The camp dates are Jan. 26; Feb. 2, 9 and 23; and March 2 and 9. Players ages 7-12 as of May 1, 2014 are eligible to participate from 9 to 10:30 a.m.; players age 13-15 as of May 1, 2014 are eligible to participate from 10:30 a.m. to noon. The cost is $15 per session or $75 for all six sessions if paid on or before Jan. 26. Those who register for all six sessions will receive a camp T-shirt.

Blackhawks' Kostka, NBA HOFer Barry at Bridges' Scoreboard

GRIFFITH | Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Michael Kostka will be signing autographs at Bridges' Scoreboard Restaurant and Sports Bar, 121 N. Griffith Blvd., from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Jan. 20.
