Northlake Patriots holding Super Bowl Saturday sign-ups
HAMMOND | The Northlake Patriots Pop Warner football and cheer program is holding Super Bowl Saturday registration from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at the Hammond Civic Center, 5825 Sohl Ave. Football participation fee (ages 5-13) is $175; cheer participation fee (ages 5-13) is $125 -- new uniform fee of $150 if applicable. Greater Calumet Area bowling championships at Stardust III
DYER | The Greater Calumet Area USBC bowling championship tournament will run three straight Sundays, Feb. 9, 16 and 23, at Stardust III, 1313 Sheffield Ave. The event includes Singles and Doubles, which start at 9 a.m.; and Team, which starts at 1 p.m.
Bowlers may chose to bowl in the pins over average division or the actual division. Separate events are offered for men and women. Cost of each event is $30. Participants may chose to bowl in the other division by paying an extra $20 per event.
Based on 35 entries, Team event will pay out $1,100 for both divisions; based on 70 entries, Doubles will pay out $550 for both divisions while Singles will pay out $275 for both divisions.

South Suburban to hold adult-child baseball camps
SOUTH HOLLAND | The South Suburban College Baseball Program and head coach Steve Ruzich will be conducting adult-child baseball camps, Feb. 14-23 for boys and girls ages 6-14. The camps will feature sessions for pitching, catching, hitting and fielding while providing adults and kids the opportunity to improve their knowledge of baseball skills and techniques.
Times and dates for each session are as follows: Pitching, 6:30 to 9 p.m. Feb. 14, or 9 to 11:30 a.m. Feb. 22; Hitting, 9 to 11:30 a.m. Feb. 15, noon to 2:30 p.m. or 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Feb. 23; Advanced Hitting, 2 to 4:30 p.m. Feb. 23; Catching, 1 to 3:30 p.m. Feb. 23; Fielding, 3:30 to 6 p.m. Feb. 16 or 6:30 to 9 p.m. Feb. 21.
The cost is $45 for one adult and one child per camp, and $40 per camp if enrolled in more than one. The cost is $30 for each additional child.
