Corral, of Cedar Lake, took first in model, fitness and overall; Ksiazek, of Cedar Lake, placed second in model; and Alfman, of Munster, placed third in fitness and fifth overall.

Midwest Wings offering soccer training at Ho Chunk
LYNWOOD | The Midwest Wings Soccer Club is offering high school boys and girls soccer training at Ho Chunk Sports Center, 19800 Stony Island Road. The 18-week Thursday session runs from Nov. 5through March 27 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. for girls and from 8:30 to 10 p.m. for boys. First half of the sessions will focus on skills, footwork and fitness; second half will have players made into teams for 9v9 indoor matches with no walls for a more outdoor style of play.
