Highland Parks to hold 38th-annual Pumpkin Plod
HIGHLAND | Highland Parks and Recreation will hold its 38th-annual Pumpkin Plod 10K run and 5K walk starting at 9 a.m. Nov. 28. The start and finish for both courses, respectively, will be Kennedy Avenue under the Ridge Road overpass and Lawndale Avenue adjacent to the Lincoln Center. Pre-registration fees for 10K runners are $20 when including a long sleeve race shirt and $15 without race shirt; for 5K walkers, $15 with shirt and $5 without. Pre-registration ends at 10 p.m. Nov. 25. Race-day registration will add a $5 late fee.
