HAMMOND | Hessville Little League is holding baseball/softball signups at the Jean Shepherd Community Center, 3031 Mahoney Drive. Times and dates are from 6 to 8 p.m. Jan. 15 and Jan. 29; and from 2 to 4 p.m. Jan. 18, Feb.1 and Feb. 8. Registration fees are $80 for Tee-Ball, $100 for baseball and softball at all levels, and $260 maximum per immediate household members with proof of residency required. Each family (household) is required to participate in a fundraiser by purchasing and selling $50 in raffle tickets or pay a fundraising fee of $50. A late fee of $10 per child or $20 per family may apply for registration after the aforementioned dates.

Ultimate Armwrestling League coming to Horseshoe
HAMMOND | The Ultimate Armwrestling League is coming to Horseshoe Casino, 777 Casino Center Dr., on Jan. 11.
