Trail Run Xtreem 12K, kid’s run Monday

PORTAGE | Gabriel’s Horn and Outback Trail presents The Trail Run Xtreem 12K trail run, 1 mile Xtra kid’s run on Monday at Imagination Glen Park. Summer gymnastics class sign-ups Tuesday

VALPARAISO | Sign-ups for summer gymnastics classes at Valparaiso High School will run from 5 to 5:45 p.m. Tuesday in the fieldhouse. The classes are for children aged 5 and older. Three, one-week sessions at 8:30 to 9:55 a.m. or 10:30 to 11:55 a.m. will run June 9 to 12, 16 to 19 and 23 to 26. Fees are $35 for one session, $65 for two and $90 for all three.

Valpo Parks to offer wiffle ball tourney

Joyriders bicycle training program starts June 11

SCHERERVILLE | The Trek Bicycle Store of Schererville, 651 U.S. 30, is starting a Joyriders 14-week training program. Training will be for 25- and 62-mile rides. SOUTH BEND | The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians and its Four Winds casinos have announced the inaugural 5K Run and Fitness Walk on June 15 at the Blackthorn Golf Club, kicking off a week of festivities leading up to the 2014 Four Winds Invitational, a pro women's golf tournament.
