VU to hold softball camps
VALPARAISO | The Valparaiso University softball program will hold individual and team camps. The fall experience camp, open to athletes in grades nine to 12, will be Sunday on campus. It is designed to allow participants to experience a day in the life of a Valpo softball player. Campers will get a T-shirt and lunch, and will have the opportunity to play two games. Cost is $130. The 14U/12U team camps will be held Oct. 19 and 20 at Imagination Glen Park in Portage. Teams are guaranteed at least four games. A college coach or player will be available to help instruct during two of each team's games. The cost of the team camp is $475 per team.
