Willowcreek wins middle school bowling state title
Willowceek I won the middle school state bowling title last Saturday at Mike Aulby's Arrowhead Bowl in Lafayette. The team totaled 2,361 pins, winning by 15. Austin Trent led the way with a 643 series; Austin Schultz had a 639, Trevor Egolf 598 and Michael McGregor 481. Individually, three local bowlers finished second: Fegely's Makayla Himden (sixth grade, 488), Chesterton's Sarah Volers (eighth grade, 592) and Willowcreek's Trevor Egolf (seventh grade, 598).
