Jose Canseco to sign autographs at Baseball Card Exchange

Bishop Noll holding youth football camp

HAMMOND | Bishop Noll Institute, 1519 Hoffman St., will hold a youth football camp for players entering grades 3-8, July 7-10 at the school's football field. Times for the non-contact camp are from 3 to 4:15 p.m. for grades 3-5, and from 4:15 to 5:30 p.m. for grades 6-8. Cost is $30 per camper or $50 for two campers.

Lost Marsh holding 2-Man Golf Championship

HAMMOND | Lost Marsh Golf Course will hold its Men's 2-Man Champions Saturday and Sunday. Day 1 will be a 2-Man Best Ball; Day 2 will be a 2-Man Scramble. Bishop Noll holding conditioning workouts for football

HAMMOND | Bishop Noll students are advised that conditioning workouts for football have begun. The next two workouts will be from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. today and Thursday at the school. Players should enter from Chicago Avenue, and attend as many workouts as possible. Those attending should bring running clothes and football/soccer shoes if possible. Incoming freshmen and transfer students are encouraged to attend.

Basketball Hall of Fame golf outing Wednesday

KOKOMO | Sharon Versyp, Indiana's 1984 Indiana Miss Basketball and 2010 Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, will be the featured guest when the HOF hosts its annual fundraiser golf outing Wednesday at the Chippendale Golf Club.

Diamond Kings holding MLB Summer Skills Baseball Camp

SCHERERVILLE | The Diamond Kings MLB Summer Skills Baseball Camp for ages 6-14 will be held at the Schererville League Baseball Fields, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 1-2. Former professional and collegiate players and coaches from the Arizona Diamondbacks, Chicago Cubs and Windy City Thunderbolts will instruct hitting, pitching, fielding and game situations, and run skill competitions for prizes.
