ST. JOHN - During July, St. John Police logged 7,985 patrol miles and

responded to 330 complaints.

Police reported 21 accidents; two offenses against a person; 30 offenses

against property; three substance violations; one weapons violation; one

warrant and four recovered items.

There were also nine miscellaneous calls; 30 offenses against public health,

order and decency; 35 assist other departments/agencies; 178 service calls; two

lost/stolen items and 14 traffic misdemeanors.

The investigation of these incidents resulted in 39 criminal arrests and one

juvenile arrest.

There were 157 traffic citations and 73 warnings issued.

Loss resulting from thefts totaled $10,655, and destruction of property

totaled $1,535. Recoveries were valued at $27,307.
