Washington Township's Jon Nugent has received plaques and magazine recognition for his efforts in raising funds for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. Nugent, the Senators' girls basketball team manager, was honored at halftime of Tuesday's game as a Riley Champion presented by Kroger. Now in remission from brain cancer, he has generated over $22,000 for the Ride for Kids program, whose proceeds benefits the foundation.
