Students have novel idea

Teacher Denise Detmar talks to her novel-writing students as they work on their stories in the hallway Friday at Crown Point Christian School. Middle school students embarked on a journey Nov. 1 to try to write a novel within the month as part of a national challenge. On average, students strive to write between 1,000 and 1,700 words each day for 30 days.
