- What about the landlords who passed this fee on to their tenants? One large senior apartment complex in M-ville increased tenants' rent by $8.33 a month to pay for the landlord's fee! Is this even a fee that can be passed on? What if the property tax goes up, can the landlords charge an extra per-tenant monthly fee to cover the increased amount?
