Why did it take so long to prosecute this officer. Four hundred dollars is insane. That is not a lot of money. Why they did not let him pay restitution which we do for criminals some times. the prosecutors Office is a complete joke.

I definitely understand that shootings are bad but the comments about africans americans that was posted is definitely racist. You still have good people in the City of Gary who do what they supposed to do and raise there family with values. The police are definitely overworked especially when you have at times seven patrolman patrolling the whole City. Gary needs a new Police Chief and needs to put all those officers back on patrol from the last administration back on the streets. Where is the FOP President now oh in his nice cushy spot. Now where is the confidence. Bring Chief Stanley back.

Good job by all departments including Indiana University PD who very seldom get there credit. Those guys do a terrific job around the campus assisting Gary Police Department when they are short handed. Keep up the good work.

It seems as if though there is a shooting every other day in the City. Who is holding the Police Chief accountable for this violence. I thought the honorable Karen Freeman Wilson platform was Public Safety. What happened or was that just all for show. Bring back the real police who knows the streets Thomas Branson not another one of Richard wants to be the Sheriff Ligon yes man.
