21 kids in the house and the owners of the house thought their kid only had 5 friends over? Hard to believe 21 kids can be THAT quiet that they didn't know any drugs or alcohol were being consumed. Seems to be some parenting skills lacking here. The parents should have been arrested as well.

Have to agree with Fewway on this one. Sorry Mermaide... I realize you are a friend of this so-called "HERO", but lets look at the circumstances. 1. 3 children under the age of five in a mobile home without smoke detectors. NOT SMART. 2. 23 year old man sleeping on a couch while 3 children have the run of the house. That is UNSUPERVISED. 3. A mom who admits that her child had a tendency of grabbing and playing with lighters. What were lighters still doing in the house? All these circumstances were an accident waiting to happen. If the children were supervised properly, your so-called HERO wouldn't have had to run back into a burning house TWICE. A family is displaced because of the stupidity of 2 grown-ups (yes, I blame for the mom for this too!). The only miracle that happened here is that NOONE was killed. Lucky is the operative word here... NOT hero.
