  1. Agreed, the main place where Indiana, and other states have problems, is that they are charging a fee, as condition for exercising a fundamental right. I guess a poll tax as a condition of voting is permissible now? There's a thought to raise revenue.

  2. Interstate purchases are still subject to a 4733 and a background check. If the buyer and seller and residents of different states, the transaction is still subject to a background check, through an FFL dealer in the buyer's home state, and the firearm must be shipped to the buyer's state. The transaction is treated as if the purchase occured in the buyer's state, and all of the regulations of the buyer's state apply. So, this complaint is a solution looking for a problem.

  3. That might not be a good idea, but what does that have to do with the probable cause to charge him with a crime?

  4. Or what he "thinks" they want to hear, and is betting on a Supreme Court decision. What would be hillarious, would be, if the Supreme Court avoids both the DOMA and the same sex marriage issues altogether. Perhaps they won't, but they have done it before, and they are masters at sidestepping an issue.

  5. You said it. Right now, the only thing that is known, is that this man is a police officer, whose son was convicted of murder.

But you asked why I would make such a negative assumption and challenged me to prove it? You just proved it for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    LMBFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now, you are grasping at straws. I challenged you to prove it a particular case, with a particular person, in position of trust, who legsilated ona quid pro quo basis. I was referencing private individuals, in private transactions. There no negative connotation to what I was saying, merely that there was a state interest. Another poster provided that financial incentives "might" provide a reason for marrying someone of the same sex. My statement did nothing to prove any legislator accepting anything in return for any legislation.

  7. You can get offended by the "religion card" if that is what does it, but I don't even have to go that far on this. As far as same sex marriage is concerned, the decision isn't up to me on either of the issues before the Supreme Court. Indeed, as far as I am concerned, as I stated, I don't like DOMA, but not because of religion. As far as the state statutes regarding same sex marriage, I believe it is a state issue, but not because of any religious/moral issues. The Supreme Court may believe differently, or not, or as they are sooooo good at doing, figure out a way to avoid both issues. I know if I were in their position, I would try to avoid both of these buggers, anyway I could. I know, that would be "wrong", but that is what I would try to do.

  8. Report AbuseCar 54 - 9 minutes agoAnalcran - it is substantive. Your continual drivel really causes forums to go sideways because so many people try to get you to stop your blathering. Count them. How many posters have commented about you, mea culpa? Please, get a clue & stop being such a bore.

If you can't engage in discussion, then the answer is for you not to respond/reply. As far as the number of people, I do not know that these are not the same people. That practice is quite popular here, with the propensity y'all have for getting kicked off this site. LOL. Nevertheless, you do not determine the nature of my comments.

  10. No, it is not. You were talking about politicians making laws, and a particular politician. I asked about any particular politician, and one in particular. The comment above referenced individuals within private relationships, and a "reason" why they might be motivated to marry a person of the same sex. There was not anything, necessarily negative about it, just a reason for a state interest. You made an accusation against people holding office, and were unable to prove the contribution, much less that the contribution, in fact, influenced them to do this. LMAO @ Butterfloat, again.
