I was at this game between Seton and Harrisburg. Harrisburg targeted Setons star player with verbal abuse and threats which prompted the Seton player to alert the ref of what was happening. Harrisburg couldn't beat this Seton team. It won unfairly to a wounded Seton team, by unfair refs.
The ref who made the call seamed to turn his head to the verbal and hand abuse by the Harrisburg player which is what actually caused the problem. That's why diversity should have been enforced in choosing the refs by the IHSA, especially in a State Championship game of diversified players.
I'm sure this will be swept under the rug as history has indicated.
