As a mother, I worry every day about all the evil out there that can affect my children, especially my daughter. Hearing about Amanda and what happened to her hit very close to home as it did, I'm sure, for a lot of parents in Porter county. The first thing that comes to your mind is that this kind of stuff is not suppose to happen around here. What I have taken from all this and hope Amanda's parents can take from this as well, is hopefully, by the grace of God, this tragedy will stay with our children. And if nothing more it is a lesson to those out there that could commit such a horrible crime to realize that no matter how crafty or clever they think they are, no matter who they have that they think can protect them and bail them out... They are not above the law. They are not above justice. And maybe they will learn that nothing is worth taking someones life and losing your own in the process. Maybe, just maybe, Amanda's story will be a reminder to them, and will prevent this tragedy from happening to someone else. And please, just know, that Amanda will not be forgotten in the mind and hearts of Porter county.
As for evidence... Where's the motive for anybody else in the world but Dustin. There was no sexual assault... No theft... It was personal... Her killer wanted her dead, and the only person with any reason in their twisted mind that might want that girl dead would be the sick, jerk thats on trial right now.
Get a clue papaj... I don't care what evidence they do or do not present. You cannot honestly believe that this girl left his house... by his own admission... got in her car, drove to dollar general at 1:30 in the morning, was murdered by somebody else, and then drug back to a spot 300 yards away from his house... And during all this, when Dustin was seen walking away from dollar general towards his house, that is a coincidence???
Either you're the guys family and you want to defend your own, or you are the most ridiculous person on the planet. Dustin killed Amanda because he was an arrogant prick who thought he was above the law and daddy could protect him...
