- JAZZ415, LTLresident may not know Steve Kasper, but I have for a number of years. I agree he is not an idiot, but he most surely is a blowhard. As for your other comment about him knowing building, he again is a big blowhard. I enrolled in a few classes years ago where he instructs and he has zero experience in the hands on field. He talks a lot but put him out on a real job site he's lost. His experience is a result of a few classes he took years ago. He never worked in the field! Once I enrolled in the more advanced classes I learned that Steve talks a good game but was a boob compared to the advanced building instructors. They knew their stuff, they didn't have to announce how much they knew, it just showed. Kasper likes to play the big shot politically and in other areas. Construction is not his forte. I was also surprised to hear tha he now is in charge of the construction program where he teaches. The powers to be there must have their heads in the sand just like Jazz415.
