- It's odd that someone who has been preaching about the new multi-million dollar church they are is going to build is now changing the story and saying that they are all of a sudden $750,000 in the hole. - Forget the cell phone in the pocket. Yeah, it's not a bad idea, but if you have one a portable house phone would be better. Always have the cordless phone in your hand when you answer the door. Especially when your home alone. This way, if you need to, you can dial 911 and toss the phone on a couch or in another room. The key is, the person in your home does not need to know that you are calling the police. Who knows what someone would do now a days if they find out. Grab the phone? Or even worse, you. There are too many of these broad daylight creeps that are hitting home lately. We must be cautious in the day, as well as, the night now.
