  1. Mr Lindahl, Does this remind you of anyone?

The grass hopper, who was a very sensitive sort, was deeply offended by the selfishness and intransigence of these wealthy ants who were unwilling to provide their fair share to support the less fortunate members of the community, like himself. "You did not build the corn you reaped through your avariciousness over the summer while more enlightened people than you were hard at work exploring their sensual and artistic natures. You did not cause it to rain, or the sun to shine, or the bees to pollinate the nascent crops. You simply reaped the benefit of the bounty of nature that belongs to everyone and greedily attempted to keep for yourself a harvest provided not by your work but by the grace of mother earth. You are thieves, hoarders, and selfish beasts that would take for yourselves that which nature provides for all of her children in equal measure." He then stormed off, while the ants shook their heads, smiled and returned to their work.

Later that day, the grasshopper returned with hoards of like-minder people seething about the outrage and disrespect shown them by the selfish, cruel, heartless ants. They fell upon the ants beating them senseless, took the greater part of their harvest and burned what they could not take to teach these evil little ants a lesson, all the while chanting:"Yes we can," "power to the people," "no justice no peace." "fundamental transformation" and a range of similarly catchy phrases as they beat the selfish ants, liberated their food stores and burned the rest. It was a great day for grasshoppers who danced into the night and "spiked the football" around the bonfires of their victory.

  2. Yes, we really did vote for love of country, not for REVENGE , the Obama phone, food stamps or "the fundamental transformation of America"
November 13, 2012 9:46 pm on If you voted for Obama, there's no hope for you
  3. Hang in there Mr Lambert, you are absolutely right. The chest pounders on here took
a big swig of Kool-Aide 4 years ago and again last week and voted exactly the way their unions dictated. The Dems know how to buy votes and bus UNINFORMED people to the polls. Obamaclaus wins again. I enjoyed hearing them squeal like stuck pigs when the state Republican majority passed the Right -to-Work law in Indiana and now with a super majority its unlikely it will be overturned. Would the rank and file members be as pro union if they had to personally write a dues check every month to the brotherhood instead of having it deducted from their paycheck. Their employers, who they cheat every chance they get, should not have to be their bookkeepers.

  4. Doug,
Ed Charbonneau gave you the standard Republican boilerplate answer that Republicans need to do a better job communicating our ideas and principles. Unfortunately, the demographic groups you say Republicans are losing seem to have selective hearing by responding to the something for nothing message of the Democrats. Republicans can never outpromise Democrats. They know how to buy votes. So here is my perception, when the white, conservative Republican types the ones who know there is no free lunch become the minority and eventually die off, who will pay the bills?

  5. Tom is a classic example of what we're dealing with. Here's a transcript of a conversation
I saw on Youtube over the weekend. Its about Democrat zombies

Another vivid example of this mental disease on display. Tom is proud he able to "organize" people like this.
    "Cameraman: What's wrong with Romney?
Obama supporter: Uh. He's for the rich.

Cameraman: He says he's not going to raise taxes on the middle class... What if he cut taxes for everybody, would that be good for you?
    Obama supporter: No.

Cameraman: Are things better with Obama?
Obama supporter: ...Well things are definitely not worse.

Cameraman: Did you see our Ambassador got assassinated in Libya?
Obama supporter: He probably had it coming.

Cameraman: So Obama can't solve the middle east problem for us?

Obama supporter: Well, neither can Romney."

Tom. Did you also hit the sophomore in the knees with your baseball bat before you
    bodyslammed him?

  6. Morton, If you knew your were losing 99% of your readers by saying it 's time to
get serious about gun control why write the article. However as Indiana's foremost
theoretician, I suggest you contact all of your former faculty lounge theoreticians and
and put more pressure on all Democrat candidates for office, especially Barack Obama
who may still be evolving on the gun control issue like he did on gay marriage.
By throwing this issue against the wall to see if it sticks, you may get enough amplification from NBC,CBS,ABC and the New York Times to get this plank written into the Democrat Party platform just in time for their convention. This would demonstrate that Democrats know better than those bitter clingers what is truly in their best interests. Of course if
store owners and home owners are disarmed this is also an advantage to part of the Democratic base which agrees with its leader that gun control makes it easier to redistribute the wealth.
