How pathetic you must be to come on here ripping an 18 year old kid. You should be ashamed of yourself. Chris did not have his best game last night. Everybody has games like that, even the pros. But to knock a kid who has worked his butt off to get not only himself, but the team to where they are at this season is absolutely pathetic. You should be embarrassed. People like you are what is wrong with society today.

Chesterton had a very good team this season but Merrillville had an even better team. It is simple as that.

Have you forgotten what a community is? You are part of the problem, not the solution. I respect your "No" vote on the referendum. But, what I do not respect is your badgering of our schools. Why don't you go out and try to make a positive change in our community then if you are so upset about the direction of our schools? I agree, Duneland needs to improve their ISTEPs scores. There is no doubt about that. But, the top students in Duneland are some of the best in the state. While we need to improve the scohol corporation as a whole, the ISTEP results do not show the whole picture.

Although I agree that Valpo's school board should be elected, does anyone really believe that the outcome would be any different? I would bet money that Paul Knauff would win a school board election in Valparaiso, at least initially. Disagree all you want, but this man would be on the school board even with an election. He is a good man that I believe will do well for Valparaiso's schools.
