I find the above quote from Coach Amy Osorio a little out of contact. She should actually state that quote directly about herself not the girls. She is the one who needs to work on "her finishing." If she knew the sport and knew how to coach and knew her "finishing" Gavit could have easily won both games against Hobart & Whiting. She is the one that changes every girl in-and-out, like they are interchangable and they're not. And the quote about "figure things out really quick" what is that? It's a little too late to be thinking like that. If she was an effective coach, she would have studied last year's game and made arrangements for this year's game. She is the one that needs to "figure things out really quick" because she doesn't know what she is doing. I just feel sorry, for the girls, because each of them bring something to the Gavit team, it is just the coach that lacks and does not see the talent that is right in front of her. And for her to say "their inexperience" is a smack to the girls' face. I know a lot of those girls play for Dunes and they are not "inexperienced." Sweetheart--you are the "inexperienced" one and really should apologize not only to your girls, but their parents, because that was totally out of contact.
