- No, they are definitely the House Sparrow. I did have a problem with Grackles for a little bit earlier in the season but removing the food source for a few weeks got rid of them.

- My question is - how do you keep sparrows from eating all of the food? My husband and I have invested quite a bit of money in high quality feed to attract various birds but the House Sparrows chase them away and inhale all of the food so quickly that we cannot afford to keep it filled. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

- I live right around the corner from that Ultra and don't shop there b/c it is not well kept. I have seen bugs race across the floors. It stinks b/c it would be a lot easier (and cheaper) for me to shop there instead of hoofing it down to Schererville Stracks.

- I avoid the Highland Stracks at all costs (even though I live in Highland). I shop at Schererville only. I also prefer to shop late at night to avoid the craziness. I am lucky enough to be able to do this (I work afternoons) as well as have the cash to pay the higher prices.
