- This was an INDOT project to upgrade the safety of that intersection. If people did not run red lights at 80+ mph that intersection would still be a trafic light and not an expensive interchange, The city's only involvement was the beautification enhancements, this project is going to save a lot of lives. Please have a clue about what you are talking about before turning this into a Mayor wasting money thing instead of INDOT saving lives thing.
