This is to Gary M , we know this race and the after math will fail , although they are going to clean everything up and it is bringing millions to the city of laporte , at least this is what was said in the papers

I have an idea , why not fly the people to LaPorte to see their jailed friends or relatives and then put them up at a fine Hotel plus spending money , lets say $50,00 a day walk around money after all it is the tax payers who are responsible for this person being in jail in the first place .

I am not against progress in fact I am 100% for it , if you read the artical in the LaPorte Herald Argus it stated that the ones putting on this race would make sure every thing was cleaned up the next day after the races , (i do not believe this will happen) another statement in the paper some one stated that this would bring millions of dollars to the City of which again I do not believe ;

What is wrong With Pine Lake , that is the lake for speed boats . Also Arnett is going to spend $60,000.00 , of our tax dollars , what the heck is wrong with you tax paying people letting thiis happen .
I would like to know after this race will any of this so called money that is coming to the City of LaPorte end up in my pocket or will it lessen the taxes I pay , the answer is no .
And Mayor Milo is excited about this , we get what we vote for .
