i don't believe he understands how to obey the seventh commandment. Its the same ole saying, once a cheter, always a cheter. had it ended? i don't believe it has. how can it, it has been going on for 7 years. we have to get the copies of his expense reports. those would be interesting.

One fun fact about the progressive party in Lansing is that one of the candidates that is running with Don Juan is the one who sent letters out last election accusing Don of certain indescretionaries. Why is he okay with those this time around? I would like to know. I received a letter and find it amusing. What about the failed business Digger dogz? Why was he making phone calls to Dyer Indiana? Also, when he would go to the conference in Chicago, what did he put on the expense reports? I know for a fact his friend was with him and items were expensed and the village paid for them. How much more do you think he has taken from us taxpayers. Mr romeo...go do you funeral directing stuff and leave the politics alone!
I read yesterday's article and was very troubled by his snide reference to "professional people". As Lansing has a multi-million dollar budget, I would certainly hope we have "professional people" running the village. I am also extremely concerned about how we got to a "B" bond rating? Even the State of Illinois doesn't have a "B" rating. How did this happen? I am not one who states the village did not need a new municipal center - it was badly needed. However, what did the past administration do to prepare for it? Did they attempt to hold the line on expenses and payroll or did they just figure the heck with it we will borrow the whole thing. How could they ignore $50,000 in rent? That was $50k that would not have had to been borrowed! I am hearing that Mr. Sciackitano's campaign manager, Mr. Podgorski, will become the "professional people" as in village adminstrator. Because of this, I think many people would be very interested in knowing just what the finances of the village were when Mr. Abbott took over - seeing as Mr. Podgorski would have been responsible for the state of the finances at that time as former mayor.
