  5. I've been reading a lot from these two articles in the past hour or so, including all the comments, and there are a few things I am clear on and a few that I am not. It is clear that CLwatchdog is a member of the town council and is making every attempt at acting like he is well versed in the police department so that he can try to give a real reason Mayersky was fired, but is failing miserably. It is also clear that Can't Fix Stupid is a police officer who has been standing knee high in this political garbage since the beginning. Of the two, CLwatchdog has yet to say one thing that is partially educated when it comes to law enforcement, which is the base for these articles. CFS has provided me with what appears to be first hand accounts of what is going on in CLPD. So from what I see, Mayersky was "volun-told" to resign to facilitate someone on the council's personal or political agenda. CLwatchdog needs to stop commenting on this matter until either he gets himself educated or he comes up with a better reason for why Mayersky was "Resign-ated". Everyone stay tuned for who replaces the chief, I'm sure they won't be tied into the council somehow, maybe a Nabisco Delivery Boy?

  8. Guys I'm sorry for the loss of your friend. I know it's hard to lose someone to something that seems so senseless, but time will heal your pain. As for the police, it's easiest to blame them for the outcome of this, but no matter what you say in response to this, here are the facts: Of all the billions of people on this earth, there was only one man who made the decision that caused this. Had your friend just pulled over and stopped, this would have never happened. You may have had to hear about his DUI case or maybe a speeding ticket he got, but you would have gotten to talk to him again.

    And to AZ1991, I think the "debate" comment was regarding the use of a helmet on motorcycle riders.
