  1. Yes, changes on both sides is inevitable. Cinko is not up in the next election (2014). He is up for re-election in 2015.

  2. Ed, I love your reasoning abilities. Your logic is usually spot-on. The problem is that Decker and Trepton hate all the employees of Dyer. It doesn't matter if you are a cop, fireman, public worker, street guy, clerk, or secretary. They can't stand them. They had years to give the employees a raise in salary and have failed to do so. Now they had an opportunity to do the right thing, and they pooled their resources to shoot it down. Cinko stood up and took a lot of heat for it, but did the right thing in the end. In a perfect world, he should have sat out on this one, bu nothing is perfect. I think the end justifies the means.

  3. Mary Tannis is an outstanding educator. Some people just do not like teachers. She would not be welcome in the Democratic Party. She is a true Republican. What has she cost the town by being hopeful in the Trash-to-ethanol? That's a rhetorical question (Hint- you don't have to answer it). It has cost $0000000. You are an eye dee eye oh tee (IDIOT) if you can not take a chance on benefiting from some unknown technology at zero risk. Decker does not want the trash being taken away from his family. His family benefits trememdously by our contract with Republic Waste. Dig a little deeper to see how he lines his pockets.

  4. Resign? Seriously? Cinko has many residents that support him fully. I, for one, support him and would love it if he could run for another term. He keeps the carreer policicians in check. The law prohibits him running again that at this point, unless he retires off the police department. The town attorney supported him and said it was no conflict. Legal precedence prevails. Decker and Trepton continue to embarrass themselves and Dyer. Decker being removed as president was the first step. Voting him out next term will be the next. Trepton can follow him out the door. Good job my friend!

  5. The cops in Dyer are top notch. The current laws permit cops to be on town councils. In 3 years, that will change, but for now it's all legit. Exercise your rights and vote. Democracy in action.

Dyers council makes about 8K per year. This president that keeps smearing the town makes about 12K

  6. Decker, when you were driving past Pheasant Hills and were stopped by the police, it was implied that you were speeding. The speed limit is a gray area, lol. If you use your own logic, you may not be able to vote on any town matter. You are conflicted as well. Arrogance will get you nowhere.

  7. Hey, justspeakthelies,

If I remember right, it was Trepton and Decker who stated they wanted to give out employee raises. Cinko has talked about raises before and he will benefit, so he will probably jump in as well. This is the first time I have heard that from Trepton and Decker. The payout last night was chump change compared to giving out raises to everyone. Hold on to your checkbook. I am surprised Trepton let Decker embarrass the town like he did last night. Seems like every time Decker and Trepton are on the short end of a 3-2 vote, they cry, cry, cry. WAAAAAAAAAAAAA WAAAAAAAAAAAA
September 14, 2012 6:08 pm on Dyer Town Council president sees member's vote as conflict
  8. A conflict of interest is a funny phrase that is loosely thrown around. I crack up when I see fools throw it around without any knowledge of what it means. To make someone ineligible to vote, Cinko would have had to benefit from this vote financially. He said it clearly, he doesn't benefit from it. He also stated none of his current co-workers benefit. Sounds to me like someone is trying to split the town up. Divide and conquer tactics??? Decker and Trepton strike again. Good luck Dyer.

  9. Way to go Dyer Police! I saw something going on at Kahler with cops and detectives everywhere. For such a small town, I am glad they have a fantastic police department. Keep it safe out there. The two 17 year olds have been nothing but trouble in town. Glad to see they have a new home. Erodney can keep them company.
