- I'm not too sure why you think I'm overpaid. Maybe you'd rather a $7 an hour drug addict or alcoholic renovate your home, business or roadway. We could have illegals do it for less than that. And by the way, union membership does not guarantee employment. I get new work through past performance. If I didn't produce a quality product on time and within budget I wouldn't be asked to work on another project.

- Free ride?? Spend a day in my boots and see how free that ride is. In my 15 years as a union carpenter I've never had a free ride because I'm a member. Be highly productive or no longer have a job. You really have no clue. Haters gonna hate I guess.

- The property owner/developer at 165th is to blame for that mess. Not paying contractors for work preformed after taking millions from Hammonds redevelopment funds. He also owns the property just south of 80/94 that was the Kmart building. Same story. He's a dirtbag.
