- I heard of this just today after coming home from vacation. Reminded me of my un-returned voicemail i left with the Sheriff a little more than a year ago explaining to him that our highways between the police annex and the jail are not dragstrips and his officers are going to kill somebody someday. I believe it was Orville Perry at the time but would make no difference, they are above the law. Did not even see the need to return my call like i asked. This may have just been a terrible accident, but one only needs to drive Hwy 231 from the jail to Wheatfield/Demotte to see the county cops putting peoples lives in danger every day.
