I teach and I wonder if people understand how much money teachers have already spent on resources to teach the common core standards and now they want to get rid of them. They have already been in place in kindergarten and first grade. I've have been using them for a year and a half now. I believe they are rigorous and we should continue. I like how most of the states are using the same standards. Before everyone was using their own standards. By changing these again you are only hurting the students and teachers.

Someone mentioned HAST....Their ISTEP scores were higher than all hammond middle school by 10-15 % but somehow Eggers got a D. Scott had an F. This system is very flawed!!! These grades mean nothing and those in the trenches know it is BS.. Why did he wait this long to release them and then on Halloween of all days? We know...it's called an election. Wake up people!
