- Sorry to hear Sears in River Oaks will soon be history. My best friend Peggy and I worked there for many years. It was our high school wardrobe place. Like the old commercial, "Sears has everything," it sure did! To all of the wonderful associates and past friends, we had great times. The Ticketron lines all the way out the door were amazing. Sears River Oaks, thanks for the memories.
