Thinking it was the ummmm person just escorted that made the arrangement for administrators to get no cost health insurance just because HE wanted it...VERY slick move by a VERY slick man...and WHO fell for it ALL...insurance for the superintendent is a "PERK" among MANY!!!!!!!!!!

I am VERY aware of that...not talking about a School Board Treasurer...talking about the treasurer in the Business Office...aren't they SUPPOSE to be aware of finances also?...along with the Business Manager they should be aware of ALL budget items and how they are used...monies transfered, etc...why have a "treasurer" if not?...

Amen Chucky...like the good old days when they donated their time to serve on the school board because they cared about their community and the school children...now it is a money making scam...

Does anyone happen to remember years ago that a School Board consisted of people who donated their time as advisors to the school community? There were not paid for their time. Then it was decided that they would be paid X amount of money twice a year. Now the Board receives money for EVERY move they make: meetings of all kinds...mileage...I'm not surprised they don't get paid for going to the bathroom! They tend to make promises to friends and "family" and get them jobs. Kind of intimidating, huh? As always, start with the "little" man/woman to make cuts. They have NEVER realized it is these people who make them look good and they don't appreciate it. Those of us who DO pay our property taxes are paying for administration to do their personal errands (don't kid yourself).
