  1. "It just lets folks know you will be caught," Frank said of publicizing Andrews' conviction. "I can't tell you why people still do this," Frank said of workers caught claiming unemployment benefits.
So what difference did it make that they got caught? Where is the deterrent? Got his welfare fraud charges dismissed, no real jail time, and has to pay back money that he doesn't have? Unbelievable!

  3. I think they should be required to volunteer at a burn unit for a year. I also think that letters of apology should be written to the owners of the surrounding neighborhood homes. I also think they should be required to spend at least four weekends working on a habitat for humanity house. Frankly I'm tired of hearing that all these troubled kids need therapy. These kids had no respect for the home they burned, the surrounding families, or obviously their parents. Let's start holding children responsible for their behaviors. This wasn't an accident, this was their form of entertainment.

  7. He's 18 years old, how could he not know the possible repercussions? The law is the law, whether you agree with it or not. He knew she was 14 year old ~ this is not the first case in the news recently where restraint would have saved a young man from a life altering action. It seems in society now, that people don't think abstinence should be expected ~ are the views the same for drugs, etc.?

  8. I prefer that if someone takes no time to learn about the candidates and their views, that they do not vote. I don't want my votes negated by someone who just thought "I've heard that name a lot so I'll choose that one". All of the people who do not vote sure would have a lot to say if the privilege was taken away and we were no longer a democratic society - oh wait, would they even notice?!
