  2. I completely support the suspension of these students. What they did was wrong and excusing them of this type of behavior is exactly why students in today's public and private schools have no respect for authority, no respect for other students, and no respect for property. The number of parents who are completely lackadaisical with their parenting appalls me. Instead of trying to protect constantly and absolve their children of every mistake perhaps we should be practicing a little discipline. I remember when going to the principal's office or getting in trouble with parents actually mattered where as students today don't even flinch...this is a problem. And calling the principal pervy is truly just childish...anyone who has been in the school system knows that almost every teacher and every principal is their for the betterment of the students. If you don't believe that, then perhaps you should home school your child yourself. Students need to learn that actions have consequences. Period. Amen.
