- I can't help but wonder if all the bleeding hearts for these "poor misguided youth" would sing the same song if their car had slammed into theirs and maimed or killed their loved ones? These criminals made a decision to run and imperil others. My sympathy ended there.

- This white, professionally employed, urban, college-educated mixed ethnicity, mother of two adult sons says if you aren't in school at 10am on a school day as a 14 year old, but instead choose to hang out with thugs, commit burglary, and run from the police, my sympathy is flagging. I would rather the criminals die than a bystander who gets clipped by their out of control vehicle.
