I totally agree with you. This is so sad that a woman could do something so horrific. She went to the hospital, so why didn't she go there, have the baby there and put the baby up for adoption if she didn't want it. I am just sick about this.

Teachers are teaching the test. There is very little creativity and critical thinking being taught. It's sad because the teachers have no choice but to teach the test if they want to stay employed.

@SSBB - Yes it is partially because of the kids that go there, but I also know several people on the School Board and this was NOT discussed until after the CT shooting. They probably should have had a resource officer at the schools years ago, but they didn't and now they want one.

This teacher should have been fired back in November. Why in the world would he only have been written up? That is totally unacceptable behavior for a teacher to ask High School girls to send inappropriate pictures of themselves to him. I'm not sure what the girls were thinking either as far as that's concerned. Why would they think it's OK?

Prayers to the family of these two beautiful young women. Prayers being said that the bone marrow transplant is successful again and that Allison goes into remission. How wonderful their bond must be to be so close. There is always a closeness between twins unlike any other siblings, and this story proves it. God Bless all of you.

It's about time the kids are being taught manners and respect. Unfortunately, they aren't being taught this at home since all I'm reading is kids killing kids. There have been 2 teenagers killed in Calumet City in the past week. Hopefully the other school districts in Calumet City will follow suit and implement this program. District 157 in Calumet City has some really rude kids who refuse to get out of the street when cars are drivin and they have run into the street and scare drivers half to death. A woman I know told me years ago that it's their culture. REALLY?????

So, now the residents of Calumet City have NO choice at all. I'm not fond of Brian Wilson, because I do think he is very racist and he also doesn't have a clue, but I still feel that the residents deserve a choice. Now NOTHING will change in CC, except Wilson will not be the 4th Ward Alderman.
