- It is also odd that no mention was made of the inappropriate and unsportsmanlike behavior of the Seton coach after the game. A major part of the responsibility of a coach is to teach the members of his team proper conduct on the court as well as how to accept defeat gracefully and with dignity. Refusing to attend the award ceremony amounts to petulance in the face of adversity. A very valuable teachable moment was lost. The coach ought to be ashamed of his behavior.
