also somehow I doubt what was reported by this article. This child clearly let other kids know he/she had the gun. Obviously your kids at this school aren't truly safe if they are gonna lie about the extent of what occurred.

I don't know what house you own in Griffith, but I doubt you pay $5500 in property tax for a residential property. Although I absolutely think we (Griffith) should be able to use the tax money we collect for ourselves. Once again the Government is too big for what they were meant for. Who exactly are they representing? Keep voting in the dems and rino's and this is what happens. We need fiscally conservative politicians who truly represent those who vote for them.

Maybe you should place the blame where it really should be. Parents stop blaming the education system if your child lacks basic fundamental mechanical and math skills. It is because YOU have failed to teach them. Stop watching TV or gaming and get up. Do a project with your children. Teach them the economics of bargain shopping. Build a bird house, work on the car. Back in the day parents actually taught their children life skills and didn't blame the schools if their kid worked at flipping burgers. Children today want the $20 an hour job as soon as they graduate high school when back in the day you started out sweeping floors and learned while you did it so you could get that job.

I watched the patriot guard and police give an escort well deserved of an American soldier. My prayers go out to his family. I saw a woman get out of her car and put her hand over her heart and it made me think why anyone was actually sitting in their cars. Next time you see this get up and show your appreciation for the soldiers that gave all for you to have your freedom. I am a vet and had to wipe away the tears for this young man. Thank you Sergio Perez it shouldn't have to ended this way

I just wanted to start with I'm a constitutional conservative. How exactly is this a win if they spend the money before any interest is earned? My understanding is that we would have been able to collect more and been able to keep the tolls lower by not leasing ( in the long run) than had we not leased it. Seems to me that we ( in the region that uses the toll road) got our as*es handed to us and now we even are going to have to pay a toll for the cline ave. bridge. I promise I will never use it. We have paid our taxes and then some! With all that being said I still wouldn't vote democrat because look at illinois. Indiana needs to keep the welfare bums from that state out of our state.
