  1. The sagging and neglected fence does not only apply at Monticello, the entire line along the Trailer Park and Dyer is a major problem. Further south from Monticello we are contantely having to repair or maintain the fence due to this neglect. Their is a tree between the fences that has fallen and is just leaning on the parks fence waiting to fall all the way to the ground. When this happens their is a strong possibility it will damage part of my fence. Neither the residents nor the Park seem to care. The park would rather wait until damages are filed against them to begin some form of action. It is important for me to have a fence because it has been my experience that kids from the park do not respect personal property, just hop over your fence, get upset when you say something, and continue to think your yard is commercial/public property. The correct approach would be for the Mayor of Lynwood to set a firm time line for the Park to correct the issue or face a hefty fine for not complying with local codes.

  2. The main problem the Mayor of Chicago Heights faces is not the rise in the cost for water coming out of Hammond, but adding that increase to a practice of tacking additional fees to water bills. This makes it a hard sell to the residents fo Chicago Heights.

  3. The problem Chicago Heights faces can be spoken about many other suburban communities. Several municipalities chose to tack on several fees to your water bill as a way not to raise taxes. Now that the resource you where initially paying for will go up significantly they can't figure out a way to continue those practices along with the significant increase. The Mayor has a responsibility to figure out how to bring in additional revenue and reduce wasteful spending. Chicago Heights residents can not continue to bare the main load of revenue for the city.
