- The police had no obligation to protect her in my opinion. She gave the name to the woman to hire Singletary to "hurt" someone. She in my opinion is culpable in the homicide that took place in Portage. She flipped on them to save her own hide. I feel for her family, but this kind of thing is to be expected. When you lie with dogs, you can be dang sure you will get a flea infestation.

- He wasn't seen specifically walking away from the car, But he was identified by a motorist in the area as a "Justin Timberlake" looking kid, and then identified via photo. He was apparently walking down the road during the time frame and in the vicinity. Here's the link to the article. I don't know about the ride his dad gave him. - I hope so too. My contacts tell me that McCowans father was indeed working that night. But as to his actions after his tour...I believe the burden of proof would be with Porter County. I assume (and you know what they say about assumption) that they'd charge him if they had proof of a cover up. I don't think they took too kindly to him calling in false tips.
