- Many breeders can purchase a license that allows them to have more dogs on the property. The license raises the limit. Furthermore, if you knew anything about showing dogs you would know that you spend far, far more money than you ever make. The only way to make money is by selling a puppy or selling breeding rights, and the costs of the health tests on the parents, spay/ neuter of the puppies, vaccinations of the puppies, and health tests on the puppies FAR outweighs any semblance of income. Responsible showers and breeders care far more about the breed and the betterment of the animals than they do about making money -- its a hobby. Those breeders care very deeply about their animals. The amount of time, effort, training, and socializing that goes into these dogs exceeds the amount that goes into many pet dogs. They are like family. So maybe next time you should do a little research before you try to slander an innocent woman's name with your own ignorance.
