- It is absolutely crazy that a teacher posted this he desreves to be fired.......but administration also needs to take a good hard look at the 6th period class and how the students are acting and parents of kids in Lake Station also need to use this as a reminder to the kids about being respectful in class.

- My nephew that used to be friends with McGowan knows that he did it as well as all of McGowan's other friends and former friends that have said time and time again that he did it. If the people that knew him think he did it, why are people on here saying he is innocent?

- I agree that IU made mistakes in this game and because of that they deserved to lose, but am I wrong to say that there was a lot of flopping on Illinois end that took points away from IU. I think that was the turning point in the game. Flopping is so bad in college basketball now. NCAA needs to follow suit of the NBA which is trying to cut down on the flop calls.

- As a teacher, there are many administrators that convince parents that have low ability children send their kids to charter schools for more one on one attention. In fact, these administartors know what they are doing by removing low ability students out of their school and putting the problem on charter schools. That way their numbers go up and their funding is safe. A school I worked at actually did this and we all knew about it. I say great job to any teacher that is innovative and reaches the students every day. Who cares about the grading system because it is based on standardized testing, which measures how well a student can take a test not how much they actually learn. There is a school is Virginia that specializes in English as a second language; it is considered a top notch school but because most of the kids are just learning English, they struggled on the standardized test, giving the school a bad rap which is a shame.
