Rusty 1, I call B.S. on your statement "The FD guys are better trained and better qualified". I've been on both sides of the fence, Fire Dept. and private service, and can say with a high degree of certainty that the training is the same for both. There is NO notation on my license anywhere declaring that I am a Paid Firefighter, Volunteer Firefighter, Private Ambulance worker or anything.
