- DCS is a JOKE!!! they rip kids away from parents that don't deserve to have their kids taken that come from good homes and don't take kids away from parents that are abusing their kids ,a lot of the caseworkers are very young and if they don't like you the switch your stories around they are famous for that ,My wife had her kids taken away over 5yrs ago from DCS she never did Drugs ,never abused her kids and they where very well taking care of and the caseworker was a major Douche!!! told all kinds of lies and let her Daughter go with the Father who had nothing to do with my step daughter for 10yrs never paid any childsupport was about 48,000$ behind and he actually went to prison for a hate crime and a bunch of other charges and tested dirty on the drug test and they let him have custody of her and now my wife does not even really get to se her Daughter my wife is so emotionally depressed from everything DCS has done,But they never help kids that need it cause they let these kids go back to their parents 6mths after they are in the system ,In my eyes a mother that gets her child taken and is going to the bar everynight is not a parent that deserves to have their child back ,I seriously could go on and on about how Dirty DCS is ughhh sorry to ramble but everytime I hear about DCS it sickens me

- I had a collection agency from hammond put a hold on my bank account for a hospital bill from 2004 for my daughter who has cystic fibrosis and I had no clue about the bill I got divorced in 2006 and no longer lived at that address I never got anything in the mail about a court date and when I called the collection company they said the sherriffs department taped the judgement on my mail box I found out about the whole thing when my Bank sent me paperwork stating my bank account was frozen the only income I receive is S.S I have no clue how they can do this to people...And Identity theft is so common now lake county has the website that you go on to get backround checks on people and they give the last 4 digits of people socials on that website plus your date of birth ,at of places you only need the persons last 4 digits such as when you call Nipsco or comcast I dont think they should post that much info about a person .
